Privacy Policies

Your Privacy is Important to Us

We want our clients to feel comfortable and secure. We strive to provide the highest level of privacy and confidentiality possible. Treatment is conducted behind closed doors, in sound-insulated rooms. Client information is stored in locked files in a secured area. Patient confidentiality is regulated by the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996, or HIPAA. In compliance with this set of regulations, we provide our clients with a set of documents outlining our privacy policies at their first evaluation.

It is important for our clients to understand that by choosing to submit payment to an insurance company it inherently entails some loss of privacy and confidentiality. The insurance company will be aware of your treatment and may under certain conditions be required to share that information with medical databases. If absolute privacy and confidentiality are important to you, we recommend to our clients that they can contract with our services privately.
